New Stickers In!

Sunday, June 15th, 2008

New stickers are in. Mash and I split a run again, but this time we added a red option. If you want stickers paypal me $5.00 to this e-mail and I will stuff an envelope full for you. Check out the pic I just got in from a friend visiting Japan. Stickers run much longer there then in the states.

Sundays Paper

Wednesday, April 16th, 2008

I finally got a hold of Sundays paper. They had a nice write up about me in the style section. It’s good to see it in print, but if you missed the paper you can read it online here. Thank you to everyone that made it happen especially Travis and Matt!

Transworld Brain Floss Feature

Monday, March 17th, 2008

As long as I can remember I wanted a Brain Floss feature in Transworld. I am stoked they brought the feature back and asked me to be the first artist included in the new format. Thank you so much to everyone that made it happen! Also look out for a set of limited edition New Era’s that I designed for them. The hats will drop next month at selected Transworld retailers.

Sticker Contest Update

Monday, February 25th, 2008

Over the past few days I have stuffed hundreds of envelopes full of stickers - no lie. My hands and tongue are sore. Thank you to everyone that sent in money to cover the shipping. Here is one of the best submissions so far. Jon writes - “Not only is it on a cop car, but on top of that, I am on probation for two years”. This is going to be a hard one to beat!

Get some stickers and e-mail me your photos by 4/01/08, for a chance to win a fitted New Era.

Sticker Contest

Wednesday, February 20th, 2008

The response to the new stickers has been amazing. I have received over 50 sticker requests in 2 days. I spent yesterday packing envelopes and mailing them out. If this keeps up I am going to go broke and get no work done.

I have decided to turn this into a contest…

I am still down to give stickers out, but please paypall me $1 to cover shipping. Paypall me at ben(at)bennygold.com. In appreciation of you cover the shipping, I am giving away a New Era.

Take a picture of a Benny Gold sticker up somewhere. You can put it on your BMW, your bicycle or on your girlfriends ass. I don’t care where it is. The best picture will win a New Era. I might even lace you with a sample hat if the picture is really epic. I will post the best pictures here and on my blog at Hypebeast.

Get some stickers and e-mail me your photos by 4/01/08.

Real Skateboards Remix Project

Sunday, September 23rd, 2007

Finally — the Real Skateboard Remix Project is out! I worked on this over a year ago, and I’ve been waiting for the debut. Remix is a re-interpretation of Real’s OG oval logo by various artists, and I’m very proud to be a part of it. There was a sneak peek of my addition in the Mass Appeal feature. I took Real’s OG oval and embellished it with elements of myself, skateboarding; and you know there had to be paper planes involved somewhere! I was also asked to add a few apparel pieces to the offering as well, so check out the New era fitted flocked with the pattern, plus the hoodie utilized it as a liner. Honestly, I am stoked on how it came out, and it was well worth the wait! Thanks Jim!
