Stussy Fall / Holiday Shirts

Friday, November 16th, 2007

I had the pleasure of designing a few shirts for Stussy’s Fall / Holiday 07 collection. I only have samples of 1 of the shirts that I designed. Here is the pic of the other shirt in the catalog. When I get the other shirt I will post a pic of that as well. I might have to go to the store and buy them. I heard Mos Def took the samples of these 2 shirts from the sales rep. If that is true, I have to find a pic of him rocking it.

Real Skateboards Remix Project

Sunday, September 23rd, 2007

Finally — the Real Skateboard Remix Project is out! I worked on this over a year ago, and I’ve been waiting for the debut. Remix is a re-interpretation of Real’s OG oval logo by various artists, and I’m very proud to be a part of it. There was a sneak peek of my addition in the Mass Appeal feature. I took Real’s OG oval and embellished it with elements of myself, skateboarding; and you know there had to be paper planes involved somewhere! I was also asked to add a few apparel pieces to the offering as well, so check out the New era fitted flocked with the pattern, plus the hoodie utilized it as a liner. Honestly, I am stoked on how it came out, and it was well worth the wait! Thanks Jim!

Ipath Island

Wednesday, September 19th, 2007

While I was out of town Ipath footwear released a shirt I designed for them. I didn’t know when it was coming out and I definitely need one for my records. Ipath will be expecting a call today. I like to keep at least one of everything I create for my book. I based the design on vintage maps and used the names of their skate team for the topographical locations. Drawing that map was a pain, but worth it in the end.

The Designs are based on classic plaid patterns, but made to be more cycling with bicycle chains and grease. Available in two colorways. I went over there yesterday to check out a sample of the window graphic for the event. Here is sneak peak of what everything will look like and part of the pattern I created for the bags. Samples of the bags are coming in as well and I will post pics of those soon.

Everything should be available this Saturday. Now go ride your bike and that should do it for Huf’s Summer line.

Vault shirts

Monday, July 30th, 2007

A new sneaker / clothing boutique recently opened up in Harlem Ny called Vault. They asked me to design their first season of t-shirts for their upcoming line. I based the designed around the theme of sneakers being precious commodities considering that they are a sneaker store called Vault. I added some Harlem flair to the shirts and this is what I came up with. I am really pleased with the shirts and honored that a new brand would want to start things off with something I have created. Please check them out when you are in NY.
