somehow the fact that flying coffin turned 2 years old about 6 months ago completely slipped my mind. to remedy this oversight we have collaborated with 2 of our hometown heroes manik skateboards and GOODS on a limited series of 5 skateboards with a graphic collage that spans the first 2 years of flying coffins existence. the boards were printed on what i have been told is the best wood in the industry and are sized from left to right 7.75, 7.87, 8, 8, 8.125. only 50 sets (250 boards total) were produced and are on the way to stockists worldwide. some will sell them as sets and some will sell them as singles. you can buy them as either in the store section on www.flyingcoffin.com right now. doing this on skateboards was particularly significant for me, without the experiences and life lessons i took from skateboarding flying coffin would not exist.

and because no special release is complete without a shirt to go along with it we printed up 45 collage logo tees. GOODS in seattle has 10 of them and weve got the other 35 available at www.flyingcoffin.com.

This city hasn’t been this lively since the WTO demonstrations. You’ve been asleep a long time seattle, its good to have you back. It was cathartic, sloppy, freezing and perfect. Its like everyone was purging themselves of the cynicism and negativity of the last 8 years. Ive never seen so many smiling faces all in one place, you could feel the joy radiating from everyone. Keep in mind this wasn’t a planned rally, this was thousands of random people filling a busy intersection and claiming it as their own. Whether obama is what he says he is and whether or not he can bring the change he promises remains to be seen but one thing is certain, what happened in the streets of seattle tonight was real and It was wonderful.

is mccain serious? out of the entire republican party this is his pick for vp? a woman who wants to teach creationism in public schools, is under investigation for abusing her power, left the country only once, wants to overturn roe v. wade, was mayor of a town of 8000 people 2 years ago and denies all of the evidence proving global warming. are you fucking kidding? not only is this a insanely stupid pick its shockingly dangerous as well. mccain has had several bouts with cancer and is 70+ years old, this guy could drop dead any minute leaving this country in the hands of someone who is extraordinarily unqualified for the job. john mccain may have just thrown away his chance at becoming the next president of the united states (hopefully).

hes not rushing or anything but the fact that the potential president of the united states knows whats up at sandys is blowing my mind.
