Everyone knows that Heroin runs rampant in Vancouver. I have never seen an isolated area that is so drug infested anywhere else in the world. Every morning the Vancouver staff is either sweeping up needles in the alley or having to deal with some kind of drama from the night before. This tee is a Vancouver exclusive and was done around 2 years ago by our good friend Josh Pong 1/2 of Brknhome. We finally decided to run the graphic after a string of store break in’s over the past 3 months.

Maybe the most anticipated book of the year-ha. Funny thing is Christian Lander (photo below) from Toronto now has a blog turned publishing deal where he got a 300k advance to go to print with the book.
Im waiting for his blog entry on how white people like to start a blog in hopes to get published.

I’ve been on the road for 3 weeks and havent had time to get to all my emails, as per usual - one just happened to be shots of the new Goodfoot store in Toronto without any product. Shot by my man Ted Power. Im loving these spaces shot without anything in them - Re: a couple posts back - Toronto Stussy store. I cant wait to see all the stores shot the same - side by side , no product in the new Unitedfront book coming this Summer.

HBC launched the 2008 apparel program for the Beijing games at an event in Toronto last night. I had worked on this months ago and loved being a part of something that will be seen by millions and worn by hundreds of athletes representing Canada.
The motifs are combined Canadian and Chinese themes and we used Chinese lucky number of eight as a numeral and as octagonal patterns. Color and design inspiration have been taken from the five elements of Chinese astrology: earth, wood, fire, water and metal. The clothing uses many natural materials like bamboo and organic cotton. Most of the pieces will be available for sale as replica wear both at the Bay and Zellers stores and online at www.hbc.com.
